In 2013, Canadians mailed more than one billion fewer pieces of mail than they did in 2006. Digital alternatives are rapidly replacing traditional mail and that trend will accelerate.
As a result, people are using Canada Post differently than they have in the past. Canadians will continue to rely on their national postal system, but the content and makeup of what they receive will differ from what it is today.
