Bob Rae is going to describe his experiences of helping the Toronto Symphony Orchestra through its “near death” saga in the Fall of 2001, as well as his work as Chairman of the Royal Conservatory of Music. He will be challenging the Toronto community and its governments in describing the steps to renewal at the TSO.
Mr Rae has been involved in a number of recent well-publicized mediations and turnarounds. He will be drawing from these broader experiences, as well as his time in government, to illustrate the challenges ahead for musical organizations and for the community who draw so much from them.
