Please join The Canadian Club of Toronto on Monday, April 26th, when the Hon. Brad Duguid, Ontario’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, delivers his first major public address from our podium.

Appointed Minister this past January, Brad Duguid is taking on a challenging and exciting new portfolio, one central to the government’s plan to revitalize Ontario’s economy. Minister Duguid is responsible for implementing Ontario’s landmark Green Energy Act, attracting more renewable energy to Ontario and helping to develop a green manufacturing base here. He is also overseeing the province’s historic $32.5 Billion infrastructure investment plan. He is a member of the powerful Cabinet Committee on Ontario’s Economic Future.

Minister Duguid brings a wide range of experience and a reputation as an advocate for environmental and community issues to his new post. He most recently served as Ontario’s Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Deputy Government House Leader.

Minister Duguid remains active in his community by hosting and participating in a number of events, including an annual safety showcase, an annual community picnic, Seniors Tea, Family Day Skate and school visits. He also lends his time to improve access to sports and outreach for youth. He is married with two children.
