The Canadian Club of Toronto and the Empire Club of Canada are pleased to announce that Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan will discuss the 2008 Ontario budget over breakfast on March 26th.
Dwight Duncan was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 1995, and was re-elected in 1999, 2003 and 2007. Duncan has previously served as Minister of Energy and Chair of Cabinet, Chair of Management Board of Cabinet, as well as Government House Leader.
Duncan is a lifelong resident of Windsor. From 1987 to 1995, Duncan served as an administrator at Brentwood Recovery Centre, Canada’s largest alcohol and drug recovery centre. He sat on Windsor City Council from 1988 to 1994.
A graduate of McGill University and the University of Windsor, Duncan has degrees in economics and commerce, as well as a MBA. He has one son, Sean.
