Minister of the Environment since February 2001, Elizabeth Witmer will discuss key environmental issues in Ontario and the impact they have on the province’s citizens and economy.
Elizabeth Witmer was first elected to the Ontario Legislature in 1990 as the representative of Waterloo North. In June 1995 Mrs. Witmer was sworn in as Minister of Labour. Her second Cabinet post was as Minister of Health, which she held from October 1997 to February 2001.
