Why the CFL Matters

NEW DATE!

Right after presenting the Grey Cup to the winning team at this year’s big game in Montreal, Toronto’s Mark Cohon returns home for what promises to be one of our most entertaining luncheons of the year. Cohon, the Canadian Football League’s dynamic young commissioner, is joined by colourful TSN Personality Michael Landsberg for an upbeat discussion of “our league”, its unique place in Canadian culture, and the debate that’s raging about its future.

Cohon is an entrepreneur, an experienced sports executive, and a passionate Canadian, who has worked for Major League Baseball and the NBA, as well as being the current chair of the Ontario Science Centre. Landsberg has been host of the highly acclaimed sports debate show Off The Record since its debut in 1997. Together, they’ll tackle the subject “Why the CFL Matters.”

Please join us on Tuesday, November 25th and along the way, they are sure to touch on topics of interest not only to fans, but to any business executive, including building a brand, managing change, and leading people. And they’ll ponder an even bigger question: in a rapidly changing, increasingly global society, what’s a Canadian icon to do?
