Who We Are: A Citizen's Manifesto

“A genuine cri de coeur . . .Who We Are is a citizens’ manifesto for a new and better Canada written by one of the brightest stars of the rising generation.” J.L. Granatstein, author of Who Killed Canadian History?

“Who We Are is an eloquent and hard-headed argument for reinventing a shared vision of what it means to be Canadian.” Margaret Wente, author of The Accidental Canadian

Please join us on Monday, April 6th when Rudyard Griffiths, Author and Co-Founder of The Dominion Institute discusses his new book, Who We Are: a Citizen’s Manifesto. Rudyard Griffiths provides a fresh perspective on some of the key policy challenges facing the country from immigration policy to global warming to demographic change. In doing so he paints a powerful picture of how we have neglected the institutions and symbols of Canadian citizenship and why re-discovering our common citizenship is more important than ever to the country’s future prospects.

Rudyard Griffiths is the co-founder of the Dominion Institute, a national non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of history and civic literacy. He is also a regular columnist with the NATIONAL POST and a political commentator for CTV NewsNet. In 2006 he was recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40.”
