Senior Vice President, Head of Roynat Capital, Scotiabank
Matt is Senior Vice President & Head, Roynat Capital. Roynat Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scotiabank, provides a unique and differentiated suite of capital solutions including lending, junior capital and private equity. Matt has over 20 years’ experience of complex transaction experience and has a strong track record of managing people and delivering results.
Prior to joining Scotiabank, Matt held a series of increasingly progressive roles at KPMG LLP (Canada & Americas). In his most recent role, Matt was Head of Deal Advisory, Americas, and was responsible for the growth and development of KPMG’s Deal Advisory business in Central and South America, including leadership selection and development.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and is a Certified Professional Accountant.
